Frequently Asked Questions
Program costs include both physician visits plus out-of-pocket program enrollment fees.
1. Physician Visits
Our program is supervised by Dr. Christine James, a Naturopathic physician. We advise our patients to contact their insurance company and ask if you have Naturopathic coverage. We are contracted with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Lifewise, Premera, and Regence. You will be responsible for your deductibles, co-pays, and any amounts your insurance does not cover. For our cash-pay patients, ask us about package rates for your initial 12 week program.
2. Out-of-Pocket Program Enrollment Fee
In addition to physician visits, you will be responsible for an out-of-pocket program enrollment fee of $595 for your initial 12-week weight loss program. This one-time, non-refundable fee is for the materials and services that are not billable to insurance. You’ll receive comprehensive educational materials, Dr. James’ proprietary program guidebook, body composition analysis reports, downloadable audios, weekly online classes, and our bi-monthly support group. Note that your program enrollment fee is not due until your 2nd visit with us, at your “Start Program” appointment. You may come in for your initial physician visit (which will be billed to your insurance or you can pay out of pocket) prior to starting a program.
3. Annual Maintenance Program
We make it easy for our patients to stay actively involved in the 12 months following their first 12 weeks. For only $150, we extend your program enrollment for an entire year with our Balanced For Life Maintenance plan, even if you are continuing to lose weight. Enrollment in this program immediately following your initial 12 weeks waives the additional re-enrollment fees you would pay for more weight loss, and gives you continued access to the essential resources and support for an entire year.
The above fees do not include prescription medications, nutritional supplements, or specialty labs, all of which are optional with your program.
